Katie Murrell-Orgill

Katie is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW). She is also registered as a Psychosexual Therapist with the Australian Society of Sexologists (SAS), the Australian Society of Sex Educators, Researchers and Therapists NSW (ASSERT NSW) and Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH). Katie is also a member of the Fertility Society of Australian and New Zealand (FSANZ) and Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA).
Katie works from a client-centered and strengths-based approach – this means she will assist you to utilise your own strengths and resilience and help you determine how to live a meaningful life that you value. Katie is direct and honest, at the same time as showing caring and empathy.
Katie has over a dozen years therapeutic experience and advanced training in psychosexual therapy and mental health. Katie holds an Advanced Masters in Science of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive health), and a Masters in Advanced Social Work practice. Katie also holds undergraduate degrees in Bachelor of Social work, with honours, and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in psychology).
